Jane Snyder CRNP

Growing up in the heart of Lancaster County, I always felt a deep connection to my community. This bond inspired me to give back by contributing within the healthcare field. My passion for the medical field ignited during my senior year of high school, a time when my compassion and empathy for others began to flourish. Coupled with my interest in science, I knew that a career in medicine was my true calling. Over the past 20 years, my dedication to delivering quality healthcare has only grown stronger, driving me to find more impactful ways to serve my patients.

Passionate About Superior Care

Midway through my career, I became frustrated with the conventional healthcare system. It often felt like there was only enough time to address symptoms superficially, without delving into the root causes or truly understanding my patients. This frustration led me to pursue a transformative opportunity to study Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona under the guidance of Dr. Andrew Weil. There, I learned about the importance of nutrition, sleep, exercise, stress management, herbal medicine, and more—all elements I had long valued in my own life but lacked formal training in. I finally found a community of like-minded healthcare providers who shared my vision for a more holistic approach to medicine.

For the past six years since completing my fellowship, I’ve been privileged to partner with patients in a way that promotes true wellness and healing. My approach begins with meeting you where you are and building a trusting, collaborative relationship. I believe in empowering my patients to take control of their well-being, a concept that has unfortunately been diminished in the current healthcare system. By working together, we can take the time to thoroughly examine all aspects of your life.

When you’re injured or ill, I adopt a comprehensive approach to identify the underlying causes and determine the best path to recovery. With Integrative Medicine, I have an expanded set of tools at my disposal, allowing for highly individualized care. Whether you prefer natural methods like lifestyle adjustments, supplements, herbs, and manual therapies, or conventional treatments involving medication, I can offer the best of both worlds through a Middle Way approach.

For maintaining overall health and feeling your best, I invest time in understanding your lifestyle, including nutrition, sleep, stress, and exercise, as well as the mental, emotional, and spiritual facets of your life. Together, we develop sustainable lifestyle changes that align with your health goals.

Outside of work, I’m happily married to my husband, Brett, and a proud parent of two kiddos, Jovie and Wesley, who attend Hempfield School District. Our family also includes Luna, our Silver Labrador. I prioritize self-care by practicing what I preach—filling my own cup before helping others. This enables me to be a better mother, wife, friend, and practitioner. I enjoy cooking nutritious meals for my family, staying active, reading, and spending quality time with loved ones. Recently, I’ve taken up golf, which has been a delightful new challenge. When time permits, I love traveling the world to explore new cultures and cuisines, a passion close to my heart.
